Welcome to the video sharing site where ordinary automobile owners provide amateur video reviews of automobiles they own or drive.

Subscription is as easy as Lights Camera, Action!!  Signing up for membership takes less than three minutes.  Once you become a member you can upload video clips of no more than three minutes duration (recommended) describing your satisfaction or dissatisfaction with your vehicle.  You can send as many different clips of your vehicle as you wish.

As you upload the file, specify up to three channels that you want your video to be assigned to.  The channels provide an easy categorization to assist other web site visitors or members to locate your video.  Each automobile video can be assigned to up to three channels.  One A - channel representing the manufacturer of the vehicle you are uploading.  All major brands including Chevrolet, Ford, Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Hyundai, Chrysler, BMW, Mercedes Benz, Audi, and many more.

Any combination of up to two B- or C -  channels should also be selected to reflect any positive or negative attribute that describes your vehicle.

'Show Off'  to the world the positive attributes you like on your automobile.  For each positive vehicle, add the video to the channel that best describes the attribute.  For instance if you are enamoured with your vehicle's steering responsiveness - assign the video to the Great Driving Dynamics channel.  If you are not thrilled with the steering responsiveness, assign the video to the Poor Driving Dynamics channel.  

Accurate assignment into the different channels will assist other potential buyers to gauge the ownership experience associated with the vehicle models under consideration.

Have fun browsing through the amateur review videos!!  Weekly, our resident reviewer, Rochelle, hosts a webisode that conducts a  vehicle review on video.  In the video, Rochelle gives you her candid assessment on the attributes of vehicles reviewed.  She may not be a professional auto critic, but like most Americans, she has strong opinions on what makes a vehicle enjoyable to drive.

Broadcast your satisfaction or dissatisfaction with your  automobile based on some of the following attributes;

Design Channel - Includes vehicles videos that contain owner experiences  related to the vehicles exterior and interior design.  Car ratings in the videos can be positive or negative on any attribute.

Safety Channel - Includes vehicle videos with owner experiences that discusses safety equipment and technology including airbags, rollover mitigation systems, crash test scores, whiplash protection systems, and other vehicle safety related matters.

Quality Channel - Includes vehicles with comments regarding cost of ownership, fit and finish, road noise,vibration or harshness, or number of recalls.

Fuel Efficiency Channel - Includes vehicles with owner views regarding fuel consumption, gas mileage, hybrid engines, hybrid-electric vehicles, vehicle emissions, plug-in hybrids, gas guzzlers.

Driving dynamics Channel - Includes owner experiences regarding vehicle dynamics.  On this channels videos showcase steering, handling, off-roading and braking capabilities.

Power Channel- Videos showcase horsepower, torque, towing capacity, 0-60 acceleration.

Accessories Channel - Includes owner experiences with accessories available for their  vehicles including items such as power jacks, cup holders, iPod adapters, available optional equipment etc.)

Create a shooting plan

Be generous with close-ups of important details or people

Take your vehicle clips when your vehicle is stationary.  For you safety and that of other drivers, DO NOT vehicleclip in a moving vehicle.

Keep clips to a maximum length of three minutes.

Split attributes into several clips if time is a constraint

Fuel Efficiency Tips

1. Slow down and watch speed -- Drive 55 miles per hour instead of 65 to save fuel. EPA estimates a 10-15 percent improvement in fuel economy by following this tip.  
2. Accelerate and brake smoothly -- Accelerating smoothly from a stop and braking softly conserves fuel. Fast starts, weaving in and out of traffic and hard braking wastes fuel and wears out some of the car components, such as brakes and tires, more quickly.
3. No idling -- Today's engines don't need a warm up. Start the car immediately and gently drive away. Don't leave your car idling.  
4. Check your tires -- Keep tires properly inflated to the recommended tire pressure. This alone can reduce the average amount of fuel use by 3-4 percent.
5. Be kind to your vehicle -- Maintain proper engine tune-up to keep vehicles running efficiently. Keep the wheels aligned. Wheels that are fighting each other waste fuel.
6. Travel light -- Avoid piling a lot of luggage on the roof rack. The added frontal area reduces aerodynamics and will hurt fuel economy, reducing it by as much as 5 percent. Remove excess weight from the vehicle. Unnecessary weight, such as unneeded items in the trunk, makes the engine work harder and consumes more fuel.
7. Minimize use of heater and air conditioning -- Use heating and air conditioning selectively to reduce the load on the engine. Decreasing your usage of the air conditioner when temperatures are above 80 degrees can help you save 10-15 percent of fuel.  
8. Close windows at high speeds -- Don't drive with the windows open unless your keep your speed under 50 mph. Driving with the windows open at highways speeds increases aerodynamic drag on the vehicle and lowers fuel economy.
9. Choose the right oil -- Use good quality, energy-conserving EC oils with the viscosity grade recommended in the Owner’s Manual.
10. Consolidate trips -- Plan ahead to consolidate your trips.
